Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation
Cardiopulmonary rehabilitation helps heart and lung patients recover and achieve a healthy lifestyle. Your rehabilitation begins in our hospital and continues in our outpatient program. A registered nurse and a respiratory therapist lead our individualized program.

- Nutrition
- Psychological concerns
- Risk-factor modification
- Vocational needs
Our specially trained cardiac staff monitors your heart rhythm and blood pressure during exercise sessions and when we increase your exercise level.
After this program, we welcome you to self-enroll in our Phase III Maintenance program.
Phase III Maintenance Program
Our maintenance program is a supervised exercise program open to people with various health concerns. Your doctor can refer you to the program, and you’ll pay a monthly fee. Trained staff develop a personalized exercise program with you. You may also attend free classes.
Cardiopulmonary – Respiratory Therapy
We provide inpatient and outpatient services for cardiac and respiratory patients, including:
- Arterial blood gases
- Arterial lines
- Cardiac stress testing
- Complete pulmonary function studies
- Electroencephalogram (EEGs)
- Electrocardiogram (EKGs)
- Holter monitoring
- Pulmonary stress testing
- Routine respiratory therapy
- Swann ganz
- Ventilators
Respiratory therapists are always available. Diagnostic outpatient tests are scheduled and performed Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
